just amazement!

a couple of years ago an old man called the bookstore asking about an old comicseries that was being published again and he was collecting it for his grandson. it always took about 6 months before a new part came out, so he was always a bit early asking when it would arrive. he said: i want to give this to my grandson and hopefully complete the series before i die.

so it has been about 1,5 years since i spoke to the man and i already thought he died.. it's such an amazing thing when the phone rang and the man on the other end said: 'hello, this is mister valkenburg'. on my last day at work! mister valkenburg, you're still alive!
such an amazing thing.
almost made me cry.
